IGNITE DTS (영/한)

Ignite DTS is a discipleship training program where students from many nations come together to live in community, share diverse cultures and experiences, and be trained as disciples of Jesus. This course is dedicated to raising apostolic leaders who respond to Jesus’ Great Commission in Matthew 28:19, “Go and make disciples of all nations,” with simple and radical obedience. Ignite DTS provides unique opportunities to directly experience various ministries that bring the gospel to people who still do not have the Bible in their own mother tongue. Through ministries such as oral Bible translation, Bible distribution, evangelism, and discipleship training, students actively share the gospel and are equipped to effectively communicate God’s Word to unreached people groups. In addition, students are introduced to YWAM’s global OMT (Oral Mother Tongue) mission movement and learn innovative and practical approaches to making disciples through Bible engagement.

Ignite DTS는 영어와 한국어로 진행되는 세계 여러 나라에서 온 학생들이 함께 공동체를 이루어 살아가며 다양한 문화와 경험을 나누고, 예수님의 제자로 훈련받는 제자훈련 과정입니다. 이 과정은 마태복음 28장 19절 “너희는 가서 모든 민족으로 제자를 삼으라”는 예수님의 지상대명령에 단순하고 과감한 순종으로 반응하는 사도적 리더들을 세우는 데 헌신된 학교입니다. Ignite DTS는 특별히 아직 자신의 모어로 된 성경을 갖지 못한 사람들에게 복음을 전하는 다양한 사역을 직접 경험할 수 있는 기회를 제공합니다. 학생들은 구두 성경 번역(Oral Bible Translation), 성경 보급, 전도, 제자훈련 등의 사역을 통해 적극적으로 복음을 전하며, 미전도 종족에게 하나님의 말씀을 효과적으로 전달할 수 있도록 준비됩니다. 또한 학생들은 YWAM의 국제 OMT(Oral Mother Tongue) 선교운동을 소개받고, 성경을 통한 선교(Bible Engagement)를 통해 제자를 세우는 혁신적이고 실제적인 방법들을 배우고 경험하게 됩니다

Discipleship

Ignite DTS is a training program designed to help believers follow the teachings of Jesus and gain a deep understanding of biblical truths. Students build a solid foundation of faith and develop the ability to live out their Christian lives, laying the groundwork for a lifelong relationship with God.

Ignite DTS는 그리스도인들이 예수님의 가르침을 따르고 성경의 진리를 깊이 이해하도록 돕기 위해 설계된 훈련 프로그램입니다. 학생들은 신앙의 견고한 기초를 세우고, 그리스도인으로서의 삶을 실제로 살아갈 수 있는 능력을 개발하며, 하나님과의 평생에 걸친 관계를 위한 토대를 마련하게 됩니다.

Diversity

Through engagement with people from diverse countries and cultures, students cultivate cultural understanding and sensitivity. This provides them with valuable experience to fulfill the mission God has called them to and plays a crucial role in spreading the gospel worldwide.

OMT

OMT(Oral Mother Tongue ) is an approach focused on translating and delivering the Bible in oral languages, particularly in linguistic communities that do not have written scripture. This method allows for the easy transmission of God’s Word to those who cannot read, enhances the receptivity of the gospel through culturally relevant translations, and encourages community participation in sharing the message.

OMT(Oral Mother Tongue) 구두성경번역 운동은 특히 기록된 성경이 없는 언어 공동체를 대상으로, 성경을 구어(말) 중심으로 번역하고 전달하는 데 초점을 둔 접근 방식입니다. 이 방법은 글을 읽지 못하는 사람들에게도 하나님의 말씀을 쉽게 전할 수 있게 하며, 문화적으로 적합한 번역을 통해 복음의 수용성을 높이고, 공동체가 함께 메시지를 나누는 참여를 촉진합니다.
