YWAM DTS

Discipleship Training School (DTS) is an intensive Christian discipleship training course conducted through 12 weeks of lectures & 12 weeks of mission trips. This school is the entry-level school for the University of the Nations.


DTS aims to help students develop their relationship with God and character, discover personal callings and gifts, and learn about God’s heart and plan for the whole earth following the Lord’s command in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

Are you ready to take Jesus’ command—“Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation”—with radical obedience? Ignite DTS is a discipleship training school designed for those who are passionate about living out the Great Commission with boldness and faith.

In this dynamic and transformative journey, you will be part of a diverse community of believers from different nations, cultures, and backgrounds, coming together as one family in Christ. You will experience deep fellowship, engage in cross-cultural missions, and step into a movement that is actively responding to God’s call to the nations.

Ignite DTS places a special emphasis on reaching those who do not yet have the Bible in their own mother tongue. You will be equipped to bring God’s Word to the unreached through engaging with oral Bible translation, Bible distribution, evangelism, and discipleship. The students will be introduced to YWAM’s global Oral Mother Tongue (OMT) movement, gaining hands-on experience in using innovative methods to make disciples through Bible engagement.

Ignite DTS is more than just training—it is a launching pad for a lifetime of mission. Whether you go on to serve in full-time ministry or influence society in other spheres, the skills and experiences you gain in Ignite DTS will prepare you to live missionally, wherever God calls you.

1. Training Dates

  • Lecture Phase: November 26, 2025 (Tuesday) – February 13, 2026 (Friday) (12 weeks)
  • Outreach Phase: February 16, 2026 (Monday) – May 8, 2026 (Friday) (10 weeks)
    (The outreach is mandatory to complete the course.)

2. Application Deadline

  • All required documents must be submitted by October 31, 2025.
    (If you need a visa, please consult with course administration in advance.)

3. Requirement

  • Age between 18 and 35 (single or married)

  • Application Fee: 40,000 KRW

  • Lecture Fee
    • Amount: 3,620,000 KRW (includes tuition, room, and board)
      (Tuition is subject to change without prior notice.)
  • Outreach Fee
    • Estimated Cost: Approx. $3,500 to $5,000 USD
      (Training costs may vary depending on the location.)
  • Payment Policy
    • A deposit of one-third (1/3) of the tuition must be paid 30 days before the course starts.
    • The full tuition amount must be paid before or upon arrival.
    • If a student requires an extended grace period for payment due to special circumstances, approval must be obtained from the school leader.
    • Failure to pay tuition may result in cancellation of enrollment and disqualification from the outreach phase.
